Loco Moco
Another Polynesian treat at the Pandemonium table. The epitome of Hawaiian plate lunch, this is quite filling and equally delicious. It starts with cooked rice, a hamburger, brown gravy, and an egg. I also topped mine with sliced chives since I love fresh herbs and they look pretty.
Hamburger Patties
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion
butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
Saute the onion in the oil over medium high heat until starting too cook. When they have started to get translucent and cook, turn the heat down to medium low and continue cooking until they are golden. Remove from heat an cool about 5 minutes.
Mix the onions with the hamburger, and salt and pepper to taste. Form in to 6 - 8 small patties. I like they pretty small since it's also eaten with an egg. Fry on high heat until browned on each side and cooked through. Serve of rice with gravy and an egg. And chives if that's your thing.
