Lahmajun

I have a friend that lived in Armenian for a little over a year but couldn't really tell me much about the cuisine there so I started looking on my own. If you are wondering, yes, when I find out my friends have traveled asking them about the food is always first. And what I found was a blog by a woman in the states from Armenia, so I started following her over at Heghineh. This was one of those things I found through her, though it seems it's more a Turkish dish.

I loved how the bread got crisp in the oven and had a bit of crunch with the juicy meat. My kids enjoyed them too, we will make them a regular thing in our house.
