Vol au vents
This dish got it's introduction in last weeks post about poached pears, but also in Deathly Hallows, which is where I first heard about them. The pears were to accompany this and weren't the main focus, but dessert first. And so this was also served recently to use up that delicious gravy. It was perfect because it was pretty thin so I was able to saute the leeks in butter and then add flour and then the gravy to thicken it and add great flavor. And of course some cooked chicken to make it a meal. Because it was made up of frozen puff pastry and leftovers for the most part I'm not going to post a recipe. Anything goes. Enjoy!!
