Hogao is a tomato condiment common in Colombia. Great on meatloaf and arepas.

2 c. chopped tomatoes
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. cumin seeds or 1/4 tsp. cumin
4 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt & Pepper to taste

Heat the oil in a small pan and add the cumin seeds and cook, stirring, until fragrant. 

Meanwhile chop the tomatoes. Chop half of them really small and half of them in to larger chunks. 

Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds before adding the tomatoes. Cook, stirring for about 5 minutes. Add the green onions, salt, and pepper. Keep cooking until the tomatoes break down and the onions are cooked.
