I love when I find a recipe that will incorporate new flavors but is still something I could make for every day meals. this is something I had pinned and was fairly excited about making. The ingredients looked so simple,  like the Spanish tortilla they magically create something new.

1 1/2 lb. sliced steak
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 packets calamansi juice or 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, sliced
oil to fry

Combine the sliced steak and the soy, juice, pepper, and garlic. Let marinate overnight.

Heat a large non stick skillet with the tiniest amount of oil, approximately half a teaspoon. Add the onion slices to the pan and cook until just starting to soften. Remove and keep warm.

Add the meat and the marinade to the pan over high heat. Cook until the meat is cooked through.

Serve topped with the cooked onion.
