Greek Souvlaki

These delicious pork skewers are one of the most well known Greek dishes and they are so simple to prepare. Better yet they can be started the night before and thrown on the grill for a fast dinner.

2 thin pork tenderloins
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. olive oil
2 tsp. dried oregano
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
1/2 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper

Cut the tenderloin in half lengthwise and then in to cubes. Combine the lemon, vinegar, soy, olive oil oregano, both garlic's, and pepper, in a large zipper sealed bag. Squish a bit to combine.

Add the pork cubes and reseal the bag. Place in the fridge and allow to marinate for 24 hours.

Pre-heat your grill or over to broil. Thread the meat on to skewers.

Grill until caramelized on both sides and cooked through. About 6 minutes per side.

To broil place the skewers on to a broil pan and cook until browned on both sides. Reduce the heat in the oven to 400 and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cooked through.
