Gebna Makleyah
I'm not completely certain what to call these so I'm going to go with fritters. They are delicious and easy feta cheese fritters, almost scone like but lighter.
1 c. crumbled feta cheese
1 egg
Salt to taste
Fresh pepper
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. Chopped fresh parsley
Olive Oil
Preheat the oven to 355*.
Combine the egg, salt, pepper, flour, crumbs, and parsley. Mix in the feta and shape in to 12 balls.
Place the feta balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Flatten slightly and brush the tops with olive oil. Bake at 355 for about 15 - 20 minutes until golden in spots.
Serve immediately.
