Thua Phat Muu
This recipe is a Thai side dish typically made with snake beans. Snake beans are similar to green beans but longer, much longer, and with a tougher skin. Id you can't find them, I couldn't this week, use fresh or frozen green beans instead.
1 Tbsp. vegetarian mushroom oyster sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 - 4 oz. asian chives
1 (12 oz) bag frozen green beans, sliced in 2 inch pieces
12 oz. cooked pork, sliced
In a bowl combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a skillet and add the green beans. Cook, stirring, until crisp-tender.
Add the garlic and cook just until fragrant. Add the Asian chives, mixed sauce, and sliced pork. Cook, stirring, until heated through.
