My posts are getting out of order from the way I ate things. I ate the goods, took the picture, and uploaded them. And then never got around to writing up the post. So I can't even remember if I've mentioned this, but I've been moving more and more towards Eastern European cooking. I love everything I have eaten so far. Anyway, this is pretty iconic Russian cake. It was delicious. I think it was interesting the extra bite that the cake had from being made with at least some rye flour. The flavor blended really well with the honey and set it apart from other cakes.
