Japanese Shiritaki Salad



This recipe comes from One Cookbook, a blog that is my go to for Japanese cooking. This recipe got mixed reviews in my house. On the one had we loved that it was a salad, which is popular here. The seasonings the chicken is poached in give it an amazing flavor. The dressing even is really good.

The only hang up for us was the shirtaki itself. I'm ok with cold noodles, and streatchy noddles, but these just didn't work for us. So we picked them out and loved the rest. Next time I will serve it over romaine or chilled rice noodles.
